Stock Ownership Question

If I owned just one share of XYZ stock, would I be able to attend the quarterly or annual meeting, tax deductable ? Room, meals & travel ? I should be able to, since I am a partial owner. Right ?

Definately can! People buy one share of Berkshire Hathaway just so they can meet Warren Buffet and hear him speak. IMO, it is probably worth the $90k!

You are right though, looking back 5 days ago or whatever it was trading around $85k a share. Just nuts!

Always bullish on Buffett!

They issued B-shares(BRK/B) a while ago in the 1990s.
This was due to some shareholders complaining about unable to give away Berkshire shares as a gift while claiming a full tax benefit, due to their price being above $10000.
This was also due to many small unit trusts being created to draw money to invest in BRK(it's like an ETF that owns BRK shares) because a BRK-A share was too high.
Thus, he issued B-shares, each with an economic interest 1/30th of an A share.
A shares can be transformed into B shares, but the process cannot be reversed.
