Nintendo Wii
So is this the next "Tickle Me Elmo"? My cousin has the game (Nintendo Wii) and all I've heard about is how hard it is to obtain this game system. I checked Amazon.com and it's only for sale from other sellers for a low of $500 +. This is for a normally $250 product. So is it holiday market inflation, low supply / high demand, or really just another hit for the Nintendo company? Anyone have it?

My family has the Wii, it is awesome.
I bought one and resold it on Ebay for $425 just a few weeks ago, I bet with they will go for insane prices now with X-mas so close.

I must say, of all the systems out there, this is the one I have the most fun with.
I'm a pretty demonstrative, gregarious person. So I get a little 'worked up' shall we say, playing the ol' Wii. But it is, as May-May Struan would say, Fantastical good! It doesn't have the game selection as some other systems, but I've never had a problem with the Wii, ( : : cough cough 360 cough : : ), or cost me a billion dollars ( : : cough cough PS3 : : ) and it is rock solid fun . . .

I'll agree with others that it is a pretty fun system to play. But, in my opinion I could only play it with friends or at a party. It's tough to sit there by myself and just wave my arms while looking like a moron. I have a lot more fun playing 360 by myself on xbox live and online play is what I'm a big fan of. But, if you wanted a decent gaming system and were looking at purchasing a future High Def dvd player either Blu-Ray or HD-DVD then the PS3 is worth grabbing up. Every system has it's pros and cons and you just need to find what fits you.

I just got all of them. And you're right, they each have their pros and cons. The Wii I view as the system that provides me with the most 'fun factor' however. There are things I don't like about the Wii, and things I like about the PS3, or the 360.
It's like roller coasters. I view the "Beast" as the all time best roller coaster. But I have more 'laughing' fun on the Vortex.
Pros and cons, as you say . . .

Haha, I couldn't agree with you more. How long have you had each of the three and which are your favorite games on each of them?
P.S. It's amazing how similar you can make those miis look like someone you know or make someone really ugly:-D

Just got the PS3, had the other ones.
Wii - Definitely Tennis. But I'm a tennis buff anyways.
XBox 360 - Tiger Woods, PGA Tour
PS3 - MX vs ATV: Untamed

Wow, sure are the gamer there.
Wii- Tennis is the most fun in my opinion as well, but mario party and monkey balls are pretty fun as well.
Xbox 360- I enjoy Halo 3 currently, but not for the killing. I actually enjoy capture the flag and neutral bomb strategies better than slayer and mindless killing. I use to be ranked in the top 1400 for Gears of War, but stopped playing once I went to college and now online is more fun in Halo 3. But, I've always loved playing Tiger Woods on any system.
PS3- Only played a little bit, so no real favorite on games yet.
Anyone play Rock Band yet? I have a few friends/ know a few people who say it is pretty fun. Only bad thing for me is, that it seems like another Guitar Hero. I wasn't a big fan of Guitar Hero, as I've played a game called O2 Jam which is a korean/asian game for the fingers and is 100x more intense than Guitar Hero or anything you have seen.
