It depends on when she bought it in 1989. However, it looks like it may be worth as much as $1,100. That $1,100 is a low estimate. I used the December 1989 high from Yahoo Finance to compute the value. The value may be higher or lower than the amount given. I hope its worth a lot more than what is given, not a lot less. I don't know if that $125 was after commissions or before commissions. I'd transfer it, though, from the broker she had to Zecco so she can unload it for free. An account closeout fee may apply. It's possible she didn't know what she was doing and only actually got 1 share of PEP with a very large commission. In that case, it probably would only be worth at most $300-$600.
She should have a statement with the broker that would deal the share price of the stock.
