How do you keep an eye on the latest stock news?

How do you keep an eye on the latest stock news? I think most of people in this forum would be interested in this topic. If you could share your experience with me, it would be a great thing. Here, I will be the first person to share the experience about it. As a stock investor, I am interested in lots of financial news. In the past, I visited many financial websites for the important financial news. It usually takes me a lot of time, but few of financial news is useful to me and t is late to get most of them for stock business. To benefit from the stock business, I try to be the first person to get the latest financial news. Recently I am using the software NewsMonitor. It searches the latest online news by keywords automatically at an interval which you specify, and inform you by a desktop alert when updated news on a certain keyword is available. I no longer worry about missing any important news and being the latest person who get the important news. You could visit the publisher's website http://updownsoft.com to check its amazing feature. If you have better method to keep track of the latest news by keywords automatically and will share the experience with us. I would appreciate your ideas.

Hi

I think it's our role to evaluate whether the news has been priced into the street yet, whether it was dismissed or whether this is additional news (hype) that could warrant a decrease in the stock price later on (as people enter the stock without knowing what the hell they are doing).

I really believe that you have to interpret the news differently than Wall St. and be right in order for you to beat the Street. For instance, if you know the management of the company well and believe that this new set of news is being undervalued by Wall St., than you probably consider buying the stock or buying more of the stock. The same thing is true for getting what you believe out of the conference call.

Good luck.
