Mail Providers - Do you have problems too?

Alright, I have yahoo mail and I must say almost every day I find it acting sluggish and annoying. To those who use yahoo mail, do you notice this as well or is it just me.

For those who use gmail, hotmail, etc., what are your opinions on them?

Thanks in advance,

Yahoo is only good for messanger IMO.

GMail is ok, but the biggest problem there is privacy. Sure-you get uber huge storage and you don't have to delete an email ever again, but its all on one giant google server. So I do NOT suggest you do anything heavy with it. One hack or somone on the inside decides to do something with it and anything you have could be seen by potentially anyone. Not good.

Thunderbird (you can buy an encrypted version), is great for any heavy emails you would do, and I think some Linux ports are out there that are great...

Hotmail is similiar to yahoo IMO, except its a little faster.

Yahoo is okay, sometimes it's slow but I put up with it because it would be too much work to get new cards and have to worry about forwarding to the new email.

That is my thinking as well. It is always interesting to hear about what other people think about their own service. I see alot of my friends using their school emails for everything. The problem with that I think is what do you do once you graduate?

Yahoo is what i use as well. As of now it is like normal, but about 3 weeks ago, it was running really slow (i think the same problem as you blain) and it would take a LONG time for the page to load and it would even say a few times that "yahoo mail is currently unavailable." But after refreshing it a few times along with restarting my whole computer, things starting turning out better. Like i said everything runs ok now, but issuing the space idea-I have filled roughly 11% of my (i think it's) 1 GB. And if i continue to flow thorugh emails as i currently do, I think in about a year or little more, i will be full. I also do have two Gmail accounts. They are nice, but the security also worries me. Just simply emails talking back and forth i think there would be no problem with.

Hope this helps.
