Daily Routines

I've always been curious to find this out.

What is your daily routine? Do you work out daily? Etc.

Sounds about right to me as well, lol. Though I do not consume much fast food, I do eat a ton of frozen foods which I know aren't too good for the system. My family has a sickly fast metabolism though and typically half a hot and ready pizza from Little Caesar's before a 2 hours ultimate frizbee session allows my body to shine.

Wake up around 8AM --> Turn on Comp --> Breakfast (if I am adventurous) --> Work till noon --> Lunch --> Work till 4 or 5 --> Think about dinner till 6 --> Eat dinner --> Go out for the night with friends or go play a sport then go out.

I've always had a passion for working out but I had to take lay off for years due to a lower back problem. But that has been cured now thanks to a wonderful Dr. who I wish I had found years ago.

My workout routine is this.

Monday: Chest, Biceps & Abs
Tuesday: Quads, calves, hammies & obliques
Wednesday: Day Off
Thursday: Cardio - 30 Minutes on the cross-trainer
Friday: Shoulders, triceps, & Abs
Saturday: Back & forearms
Sunday: Cardio - 30 minutes on the cross-trainer

I do all of my workouts at a gym. I could never begin to afford all the equipment that I use. If you actually use your gym membership it is well worth the money. As a general rule YMCA's are usually reasonably priced. If you want to get into the more trendy clubs the memberships can get very expensive and som of those tend to be more of a singles "meet market" than they are for serious working out.

I can tell you that I feel more mentally alert and more upbeat when I'm working out regularly. You can't seperate mind from body. Either one can drag down the other one if not exercised regularly.

I havent really posted much on here yet, but I figure nows a good time to start. My name is Kevin by the way, and I'm 23. My routine for the day is up at 6:15, to work by 7:15-7:30 ( Actuarial Analyst ). Off at 4. Then its to the gym. My gym routine is centered around the big three lifts (Bench Press, Squat, and Deadlift). Heck, I even have a pretty rigid eating routine up until dinner. Usually I eat every 3-3.5 hours, mainly shooting for 1 gram of protein per lb of lean body mass.

Heres My gym routine.
Monday: Bench Day with supporting muscles ( lats, shoulders, triceps)
Tuesday: Cardio, abs
Wednesday: Squat Day w/support (more quad work, calves, lower back, traps)
Thursday: cardio, bas
Friday: Deadlift Day w/support (more hams work, glutes, biceps)

I love talking about lifting, so PM me if you have any questions. Also, check out Wanna be Big.com - The Ultimate Weight Training and Bodybuilding Resource . Its a great site with a ton of good info. I look forward to talking stocks and more with you guys. Talk to you later.

The first thing I do every day is breath. When I forget to do that I won't have any further need for a routine.
