Hey Kevin, welcome to the forums man! Just wondering, where do you live? I am from Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am 21, enjoy working out, but I don't lift weights at all? No reason, but I am more into endurance and working the body against itself. I run, pushups, situps, and do a lot of streching also ( I like martial arts) Anyhow, glad to know you are here, and look forward to talking with you.

Mark

I have seriously lost interest in exercise. I played sports and worked out before but I cut it out once my daughter was born. We are expecting and I'm hoping for a boy. Why is that when the partner is pregnant the man gains a lot of weight as well? hah..happens every time.

I used to run/jog. Mostly boxing workouts but some weight lifting from time to time. My back hurts too much for any heavy lifting workouts.

If my girl Beyonce came back into my life I'd be back in shape in no time.

LOL Zen. You should be doing some crunches for the sore back of yours. Not that I am at all qualified to hand out exercise advice, but it has worked for me in the past ;-)

day 1- legs
day 2- biceps, forearms, shoulders
day 3- chest, tris
day 4- day off
(repeat)

I do abs whenever I can and for cardio I have to walk a ton on campus so I neglect this otherwise. If I'm sore I'll take another day off but otherwise after 4 days it's back to day 1.

This semester I started taking protein (for about a week) and was supposed to get in great shape but unfortunately I got mono and have been out for about 2 months Stay healthy guys and don't kiss $!***y girls : D

Supplementing more protein is a great idea. If your goal is to put on muscle, its a must. You should be looking for 1 g per lb of lean body mass. Depending on what kind you are supplementing with depends on when you should be consuming it. If you want more specifics shoot me a pm. Consul, I can tell you all that I know, but I've only been here for two months ( just graduated this past june). Basically we acheive profitability from underwriting because we assess the risk, charge a premium for a certain profit level. Depending on the product depends on the mark-up companies can put in place. regulations are crazy. They have to do with everything from the amount of reserves the company must hold, what type of assets can be held for such reserves, how we price our products, the assumptions used. The list goes on, and as you can tell, its a heavily regulated industry. Supply/demand situation, I am not really sure what you're getting at here. Investment of the float is done by the finance group, so I am not quite sure what the mix is. As I learn more, and find out more, I'll pm you with more info. Talk to you later.

Just purusing through the forum, and a topic I thought I'd visit.

Routines and schedules, (even with scheduled breaks from them) are a must for me.

My 'average' day looks like this:

7:30 am - Get up with the wife. Have breakfast. Read with her. She goes to the bank around 8:00 am

8:00 am - Go for my morning run

8:30 am - Pull up some music on the stereo in the office and puruse my email and forums

9:30 am - Fix a small shot of vodka and turn on my "Trading Playlist" in Media Player, and follow the markets open.

12:00 pm - Go for my Lunch Run. When I get home, read a bit. Do a little study (I study languages). Then fix lunch and go back to the markets and the net.

2:30 pm - 3 days out of the week, I workout. Sometimes 4. It depends on what phase of my training schedule I'm in. It's a 20 week schedule, with a few phases to it. A phase for stretching all the body parts / "Stretch Phase", a "Volume Phase", "Strength Phase" "Stretch Phase (again)" "Strength Volume Phase" "Stretch Phase (again)" "Hybrid Phase", and then I repeat it it from the beginning.

3:30 pm - Watch the Market close up

4:30 pm - Study a bit more

5:30 pm - Wife gets home, one of us makes dinner. Then the evening is ours for whatever is on the calendar.

10:00 pm - Go for my night run

We usually do the vacation thing every 6 months. And every 3rd or 4th vacation - we try and make it a 'biggie'.
