So how is everyone doing?

Just wandering how eveyone is doing in there stratagys?

On mine Ive taken 2 major hits today and dropped from 1st place.
Currently i have 2 stocks with all my money tied up in them. First one was doing real good and have made some decent $ off of it, but today it blew past my stopping point without it stopping out . On the other one it had good volume, and valitility at the time i bought into it, and had it had increased in value since. The problem with this one is it is at a point that it will be heading back down and i am unable to get out of it at the value it is at now because the volume has slowed to nothing. Currently i have 30,000 shares and it wont let me even sell off 1,000 shares because of the valume being so low.

I am working my way from the trenches, but may be another day or two before I am back on the high side. I started about a week behind others due to the idea of the CNBC investing competition. Then I turned around and bought into a series of losers that dropped me about $11k, I am on the rebound and it has taken me some time. I should break $100k again tomorrow. Then look out FundamentalTechnician, I will be coming for you ;-)

Sorry to hear about the stock blowing your stop loss. I really hate it when that happens. Those things are good safe guards, but they can be blown with a good gap up or down. My thought here is that maybe you should have rode it out. Many times a gap will undo itself up to 90% of what it was. My concern here is that it wasn't really a gap though, this is earnings week for many stocks, so you may have been hit by that.

I was finaly able to get out of those 30,000 shares at the very end of the day. (boy did that suck) Im still in the other one and going to ride it out with it. The stop never executed so i cancelled it. Its currently at -14,000.

WOW.. BlueBoy came out of no where with only 2 transactions. Looks like BlueBoy and FundamentalTechnician are useing options. Ive havent even started to study options yet. Ive read a few pages on them and my head began to heart. So im saving them for later.

I am learning while playing with the stocks. Apparently, I don't use any method, just playing around. I can't believe I could see good signs as of now. am glad Ford Motor Co (F) seems doing nice!

Yes, they are using options, I don't think they are aware of the rules on Falkin V, but no worries, I will catch up to them.

Newguard, you are lucky if you caught F with an up day... I pray that you continue to see them in an up day as they have been going the other way for months now.

F Has been trying real hard to support *** rights. I think that is one of the major reasons they are down so low. (weather they admit it or not)

I bought 4-5 stocks and intend to hold until the end I am in the positive for now. I am going to be in and out of town for the next two months so I don't have the time to buy and sell daily. If I get opportunities I will take advantage of them.
