I was doing pretty darn good until like Thursday or Friday, I made it to about 13th, but had a personal problem on Thursday and dropped the ball. Should be picking up again on Monday. |

Today was a good one... I picked a champ out on Monday that ran for about 18.17% profit for me today. I wish I had stayed in it though. I cashed out too soon and missed out on a 24.38% profit... bummer, guess I will have to live with the $8k+ profits for today.... |

Chiming in. I've been taken out of my original strategy by the demands of real life, so I'm changing horses mid-stream. I was working on a short term profit model, swing trading more or less, and not doing that great. I'm taking a beating on the ZZ IPO, but did okay with PSS and SWB. RGR is not helping my cause at all.
Now it looks like I should try a buy and hold style, heavy on the divs, please.
As of close tooday, I'm down about 1.2% from the starting point, but I'm not discouraged. It's not if you win or lose, it's what you learn from the game.

If there is one thing I have learned from doing the simulator stuff and the real world stuff, it is that you learn something new everyday from your investing, because if your not, then your not investing for long.
So I invest to win, but I am always trying to learn something new. The market is a living beast and changes with the emotion of the people backing it and the historical proof is all we have as a guide to get us through the rough currents of the changing trends.
