For example, let's say that Joe comes up with a really cool technique that works for him and lands him the #1 spot more than once. sponsors see this and go "I gotta get my hands on that guy". Next thing you know, it is taking Joe to places where he has never been before and making the kind of money he really feels he should be making.
Point made, sponsorships could work. Maybe some contestants should go get sponsors for Falkin V . Hmm... I wonder how we would promote that? The only way it'd show up is if the contestant was in the top ten on the leaderboard; but still it would be there. Maybe I will take someone on .

They don't buy and sell as a group. They each compete individually in the same competition, like the atheletes in a 100 yard dash. The best team should pretty much be able to take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (thoughts of NASCAR here)
I like that concept, so each team is going to have a few traders, then also would need a few "pit crew" or researchers, and then a leader. That sounds extremely exciting actually lol. So next question is how many people do you let trade, how many crew members, etc. (keeping the grand prix theme here)?

Just for the fun of it, I am starting a little bit of a fight at RD forums on the Paper Assets forum to see if anyone takes the bait. Right now I am not posing anything threatening or challenging, just some questions.
I will check it out, sounds good to me Larry. More progess yet on this idea, looking good.

EDIT: Joe, excellent summary for Members. We Will have the meeting for this tomorrow night at 9:00 PM EST. It is an hour before our regular FIO chats, so it will work perfect. Anyone is welcome, the more the merrier.

The chat wound up on AIM and the turnout was super. Lots of discussion on the topic it is a large idea and of course Blain brought us back to the planet with his usual flair by saying "KISS" The enthusiasm for this idea is very high.

I don't need a pit crew, my process is nearly fully automated and you can tell from my position in Falkin IV, I don't need a tune up crew either. Just a little more focus

Post the results here or send me a PM on it... I can't make 9 EST as I am barely alive or on my way to work at that time in my day. See, I am PAC time.

Hey Larry,

The meeting was great Wednesday night, it ended up going for about 2 hours.

Most of what is posted above was disaproved or decided against. The concept itself is in a hault until we meet again and discuss other factors. The next meeting will most likely be next wednesday.

Have a great weekend,
