Trading Styles and why you choose it
I would like to give everyone a chance to express their favorite trading style and why you choose to use it.
My Trading Style:
Short term trading, buy low, sell high.
Why I choose to use it:
It is simple and easy to comprehend, you see the stocks go up, you know your money is going up too. I use short term because I want to build up my true investing assets quickly. By trading short term, I am very much involved with my investment and I control my gains with greater satisfaction. I don't have to wait a specific time period to collect my eranings and I can adjust on the fly without remorse. I am in investing to make money now and in the future, not just for the future.

My Trading Style:
Penny Stocks combined with my own KISS philosophy to trading. Keep things as simple as possible and trading extremely volatile stocks for maximized gains.
Why I choose to use it:
The style I utilize works best for the type of trader I am. I can only grasp so many concepts, and I do not like to overcomplicate what could be a simplified process. Furthermore, penny stocks have always been fun to trade for me due to their added skill needed to trade them and intensified volatility. Lastly, I found myself to be good at it, so I say let the good times roll.

My Trading Style:
Various stratagies within and outside the equity market. I like to take posistions in things with moderately high risk, then hedge those risks with various financial products. I also like distressed securities, as valuation and prospect for recovery are very fun things to play around with. I have to say though, my favorite has to be advanced options stratagies, there is just something that makes me feel good about setting up a delta/gamma neautral posistion that makes me feel all tingley inside.
Why I choose to use it:
I like setting up things that others can't even understand. I do adhere to the priciple of KISS, becasue the more I learn about these "advanced" stratagies the simplier they are and more apparent they become. These stratageis although, may appear riskier than just trading on TA or fundamentals, they are, if managed right, less risky!

Haha, ya I can imagine. I still have yet to truly master the Delta/Gamma interprations. I understand what they are, but utilizing them in an effective manor is still beyond me.

A buddy of mine is getting into Delta/Gamma interpretations. I feel for him because he hasn't even mastered the simple stuff, like oh, trading stock. He is constantly trying to bite off more than he can chew. Which usually leads him to spending more time chewing and less time digesting... poor guy.
Anyway, it is cool that you like to be challenged and Delta/Gamma will surely do that for you.

The principles of delta/gamma neautrality, or Greek measured risk neautrality in general, are quite simple and straight forward IF you have a good grasp on options already, or at least I think so.

sheeeesssshh,..... poor me.. I don't even understand a word you say. At this stage, all I can fully grasp is the TA and fundamentals (not even all the TAs though).
Oh hey, if any of you guys would be able to recommend to me something to help me out with TAs that would be very much appreciated.
Thanks!
