hello

Hello everyone! I'm new and dont know much about stocks and what not, but looking forward to increasing my education, and maybe making a few bucks in the process. I've been lurking around for some time now and been getting myself more comfortable before I finally jump into the market. Anywho, looking forward to getting to know you and lets see what we can learn!

Hello! thanks for welcome! Currently living in San Diego. Went to college here, and now working my 9-5 everyday; looking for another way. Well, Anyway, I'm 23 years old and curious to see what this is all about. I've been poking around the site a little bit, and I like what I see. There's a lot to look at, so that should keep me busy for a little bit. Anyways, thanks again for the welcome.

Have you read Rich Dad Poor Dad? You would fit in perfectly. I support that 110% man, what line of work are you in?

hey Mark, thanks for the warm welcome. Well, i recently graduated with a BS in biochemistry and cell biology, so I am currently working at a biotech company as an oligonucleotide chemist. Its kind of fun to say, but, I already know that this is something I don't want to do. I've been doing it for 6 months and I've already had enough. I have always kind of considered myself more an entreprenuer type of person, so I figure stocks is a good way to start making some money, for myself and not my boss. Anyways, enough of the babble, I have read Rich Dad Poor Dad, as well as few other of the Rich dad books. I am definitly interested in some lessons. I do have quite a few questions, being that I no nothing about stocks. I dont really know where to start. I found this website, "Teach me To Trade," signed up, and went to this free seminar last night. It was pretty informative. I ended up signing up for their 3 day seminar, which I'm not sure if I am goin to go through with it yet, because after doing a little research, the company sounds a bit shady. but yeah, thats kinda where I am at now...which is next to no where. so feel free to point me in some directions. I'm ready to learn, but there's so much information out there, its hard to sort through. Thanks again for the replies.
