Alert services (good or bad ?)

Happy Holidays
I am completely new to the stock market and will be looking for a lot of help. This site has covered a lot of my questions (Thank You)
The one thing I have noticed is a huge supply of alert service adds but no one ever seems to talk about them. Are they just a waste of money or can they can they be helpful.
Thank You for any input

Welcome, glad the site has been of help thus far, that's fantastic!

As for your question stock alert services CAN be profitable if you the trader know what you are doing. There is no proven system that can ultimately in the end make every buy and sell decision without your participation.

My personal advice would be to buy some books on investing and start your education there. Check out our list here on the site for recommendations. My personal favorites are by William O'Neil,

Fantastic! Definitely heading in the right direction. For weekly education I would also subscribe to our free newsletter.

If you have any stock questions at all just post them up in the questions area or feel free to ask me. See you around!
