Hello everyone!

Hi there!

I got the information on this forum and the Falkin IV competition at rich dad forum, my name Rodney, I'm the bluechip_neo there (also). I'm hoping I can further deepen my knowledge on stock trading with this forum and the competition, I only know the basics, not so much on advanced. I'm also hopeful that someone could provide me here a course on stocks, those 101s (basically where each of us started), and in my journey with paper assets, i hope to find friends and peers.

My educational background, I graduated in Bachelors in Business Management, and am now reading RDPD books and listening to his tape sets. That's it. To honestly tell you, I am a pure starter on this since my educ background didn't contributed much on my paper assets knowledge.

Therefore any help is very much appreciated.

Please reply to my thread, I would gladly appreciate it.

I mentor people personally for free. Read the "5 Step Program" and check that out. I can cater to your experience level depending on where you are at.

Are those tape series good by the way? I haven't had a chance to listen to them before. Does Kiyosaki read or someone else?

Welcome again!

Hey Rodney! Welcome to the FIO, a very close community where we're all part of a "family." It's great to have you on board! You're in the right place if you would like to learn all about investing. Please definitely check out Blain's "5 step program" perfect for the beginning investors. We also have great discussions as we learn from each other in the community.

Did you register for Falkin IV yet? It's our own stock simulator competition, perfect for any level investor and actually really helps the first time investor as it gives you that real - life investing experience without having to spend any "real" money. The competition is run through investopedia.com which is another great stock educational resource.

I have been reding Rich Dad Por Dad too. I bought a book a few years ago and red it and didn't do much with it, and now I am really in to it. With everything going on around us, we have to take things into out own hands. It is so scary out there when you don't have a plan.

We had the Rich Dad Poor Dad book here too for a little while. Then I decided to read it and I was so inspired by what Robert Kiyosaki had to say. It all made so much sense and I wondered why they never taught anything like this in school! They don't though, and that is why reading and knowledge from these books are so important. You're so right Makanda, we do have to take the control and not rely on the government or a "safe and secure job with good benefits" to get us somewhere. We have to take the initiative.
