Cass.... I've got only one thing to say to you:
BAH-BAH-BAH-BOOOOYAH! Check out Jim Cramer on CNBC, M-F 6,9, or 12. I've learned alot about the market from that guy, but don't let him be your only source. There are plenty of investment books out there you can read up on. One I recommend is: A Random Walk Down Wallstreet. I picked it up from Amazon.com for like 3 bucks. Other good books are: The World is Flat and Freakonomics. Stock market forums are great sources of information as well.

It's important to get your own investing style. Cramer + books + forums = lots of information. You'll form your own opinion and figure out an investing strategy that's right for you!
