I'm not sure about e-trade, as I've never used them.
I assume you're referring to the trading platform a broker offers?
I trade with Scottrade, and with optionsXpress. optionsXpress is a broker has a scalable commission rate (Depending on how active you are, is how much you pay in commissions per trade), but usually, I've always received all of my real-time charts and quotes for free from any broker I've used in the past.
