Are earnings reports only quarterly or do some companies release them more often? Also is there a site that tells the dates that companies will release their earnings reports or is it something you have to look up individually for each company/stock?

I'm reading on how volatility affects options prices during an approaching earnings release. I want to track a few imaginary trades to see how the prices change. Vega grows smaller as the expiration date approaches but its alot bigger when there's a few months or more before expiration. So I'm trying to track a trade that won't expire for a few months or more and has a earnings release coming up so that I can watch the volatility go up and raise the price... I'm still in experimenting mode I'm a chicken sh@t!
