I chose to wait a month with opening an account because I'm moving to Australia this month.
I think they said the commision fee was at 6.5$. You can also request a cheaper account. You have to specify what commision fee you want instead and how much trades you would be doing and how much money you would deposit into your account.
I don't know if they always accept that but you can always give it a try.
Don't know about their service yet except that they answered my e-mail within a day and I found it helpful.
