I am having a problem and I would really appreciate your help / advice:
I am from Romania and I want to buy shares at a medium-sized firm on the London Market. I tried some online brokers engines, like SaxoTrader, CGI where the fact that I am NOT from the UK or US did not seem to count, but I was not able to find my firm ... on the other hand, in the place I did find the firm,
Free Portfolio, Share dealing, ISAs, PEPs, SIPPs, CFDs, Spread betting - Interactive Investor, it seems that you MUST have a permanent UK residence in order to open an account ( long live the European Union ). Do you know any other sites that are very comprehensive and don`t care about residence? Could I hire a UK broker from my residence and comission him to buy the stock for me? What would be my resonable options?
