If reading books/ publications are too much of a hassle for you, I'd suggest learning by doing. What you can do is reading financial news on the web and ask questions as you go along. I think it is more effective that way. (Btw, that is how I learnt in the past) Several sources of financial news publication that I'd recommend is:
1. money.cnn.com
2. thestreet.com
3. businessweek.com
Now, you don't have to read the whole site here. Just click on any available news on the front page and read along. They are updated almost daily and reading one or two articles that interest you each day will be more than sufficient. If you need help or have some terms/jargons that you do not understand, you can alway post here and get some discussions going.
