My approach has changed a few times since this all began. At first I figured to go into the stock market with a small amount of cash and try to grow it in time to an income producing asset that would keep the light and heat on in my life. Through various changes in my life and my attitudes I now pursue financial freedom through a combination of steady work and accumulation of assets. I am now the proud owner of a 2008 Ford Ranger 4x4 Idea being I can use it for additional work for cash. I own or will own all the tools I need to go into business for myself as a rent a husband/handyman. I will use word of mouth and take on small cash only projects. When I am consistently making enough cash I will buy a house fix it up and flip it for lump somes of money that I can use to invest in the market.
Prior to the current incarnation of this process I would get very frustrated by my inability to aquire enough cash for investing. I was not genrating enough cash flow to make it worth my while to invest and my discipline was truly awful when I walked past the tool store. Now I have a better plan I feel and a more realistic aproach to executing that plan.
