Vietnam is expected to see a boom in investment funds in the time to come as the country's stock market has become increasingly attractive to investors, experts said at the "Funds World Vietnam 2007" conference beginning here on Wednesday.

James Marshall, chief investment officer of Finansa's Asian Merchant Banking, told the Daily on the sidelines of the two-day event that he estimated some 20 new country funds had been set up, and that these funds were sitting on US$3-4bil of cash and ready to invest in Vietnam.......
