Covestor Investment Management Goes Live
Today I am very excited to announce that Covestor Investment Management (CVIM) has officially launched live over at website cv.im! I have been working as Community Manager at Covestor now for over a year and for any startup this is the big day we all wait for.
Since Covestor’s launch the site has been THE proving ground for investors. By building a verified track record instead of using a stock simulator Covestor allows investors to show what they really can do. And now with Covestor Investment Management this whole concept is taken one step further with the addition of auto trading.
From the Covestor blog, Covestor Investment Management (CVIM) has developed the world’s first retail Multi Managed account or MMA. With an MMA you can invest directly alongside professional and retail investors, managing their own money in their own account.
CVIM licenses real time trading data from a large number of active investors and using this data creates a model of each. When you open an MMA you are given access to the models of these investors that you can subscribe to. Once you have decided which models best suit you they are auto traded for you in real time in your own managed account.
Similar to any stock brokerage account you can see all the trades that are being made, your performance with each model you are invested in, etc. Overall CVIM is offering a brand new type of investment product that gives you access to the best stock traders and expert managers just like a hedge fund with security and most importantly full transparency.
To launch with there are 10 available investment models to subscribe to and Covestor members are probably familiar with most of the names.
