Guess the NASDAQ Close $1000 Contest Final Leader Board
Several weeks ago the Guess the NASDAQ Close Contest with the $1000 cash grand prize officially launched. The contest is to see who can most closely guess the close of the NASDAQ Composite at the end of April (last day was yesterday, Thursday, April 30th 2009).
The Million Dollar Journey and Market Folly were kind of enough to mention the Contest to their own Communities and help bring in more entries. With their help we were able to have 96 total participants which is a fantastic turnout.
So who ended up with the closest guess? Modulo8 was the winner with his guess of 1718.24 which was only 94 cents off the close of 1717.30. Nicely done!

Unfortunately no one could claim the $1000 cash prize for guessing the NASDAQ close to the exact penny (lucky for us) but nonetheless a great contest.
