Complete Idiot’s Guide to Value Investing
The nice people at Wilks Communications sent us over a complimentary copy of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Value Investing. The book was released last month and after reading a good portion of it over the past week I must say, not too bad!
The book breaks down the details and concepts of value investing and has a lot of nice features throughout such as giving key term definitions, quotes from famous investors (a lot from Warren Buffett) and quick summaries at the end of each chapter that list, “the least you need to know”.
With that said the book has A LOT of information and it and can really be overwhelming so make sure to read it with an open mind. Let the information and key concepts soak in and don’t focus on remembering all the term definitions, etc.
I would recommend this book to investors who have already been trading (despite the title) to maximize its information. PS – if you do not like accounting you will not like this book!
