Unfortunately I know nothing about this broker account. Your best bet is probably to contact support through them and ask them about it.

Good luck!

I am trading on LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE (LSE) having trading a/c with HSBC but can't see stop/loss options or features available to my account. I am not quite sure whether I need to additionally subscribe for this feature or STOP/LOSS order option itself is not available on LSE. Can someone explain it?

Thanks in advance.

If you use a stop loss order for say a position of 10,000 shares well when the order triggers your order could be too large in size and as a result give you a less competitive price. Personally I use strictly limit orders for larger positions.

Thanks for this unusually informative, clear site.

In setting stop loss orders, you warn:

Don’t use stop loss orders for large positions. For investors purchasing blocks of shares stop loss orders may hurt more than they help due to inefficient order filling.

What would a "large" position be? I'm not a block trader. But I am curious where the inefficiency creeps in and how it hurts. Got an example?
