We recommend Chris searches the net for a free web template or even spends the $20 - $50 to buy a pre-made one. While content is king first impressions also play a huge role in establishing return visitors.
Another idea for Chris is to setup his free trial by email request only instead of simply linking to a page. By collecting email addresses Chris can keep track of who is viewing his picks and even gather feedback on the overall service.
