I just finished organizing yesterday a collection of technical analysis patterns that really any investor can greatly benefit from. I am looking for feedback on improvements so please view these charts and share your thoughts!

Right now there are two key locations to find the charts, first by clicking the Stock Education tab at the top of any page, or clicking the Chart Analysis tab which lies just below the site logo. What I really need feedback on is how to make the navigation between charts easier.

Below most of these charts you will find a simple “View More Technical Analysis” link but I think this can be better done, thoughts?

One idea I have is at the end of each post make a big bold lettering to “View Previous Chart Example x or Click Here to View the Next Example x”. Any feedback is appreciated!

  1. Blain:

I would do something like you mentioned at the end, but maybe you could do arrows with “next” and “previous” kind of like a slide show.

I also think it would be helpful to have a subtitle for the charts describing what sort of technical analysis the chart is reviewing. This way as you provide your readers more examples of various formations and types, you’ll have a more focused database. It’ll be easier to start now than later on when you have 30-40 examples.

    just my $.02

  2. Fantastic feedback. I started doing this actually but the problem arrived when I started adding charts with 5+ points and multiple patterns.

Perhaps I can sub categorize them based on the main pattern the chart portrays? For instance “support and resistance”, “channels”, “flags”, “breakouts”, etc.

  3. Nice. Nothing better then studying the charts of past leaders to see how they move. You have all the good ones up there as well.

  4. Why not just do what you did with the Lehman example at the bottom?

It says, “Previous Examples of support and resistance”, just use that or something similar.

  5. I think this is a great idea Blain, keep the charts coming

  6. Wouldn’t this only be necessary if you had like 100+ charts? How many are you planning on creating Blain to finish the area?

  7. Valid argument, I will probably end up with 50 or so, should be enough to hopefully educate everyone

  8. Check this one out, just finished and happy with the template overall,

  9. Cool deal Blain, I like it
