Covestor Adds Twitter, Twitter Your Trades!

As the Community Manager for Covestor.com it is part of my duty to keep members updated on the latest site enhancements, and as of yesterday I am excited to announce that you can now link your trades up with your Twitter feed.

For those who have never heard of Covestor, we are a site where you can track, watch, and even replicate the portfolios of proven self investors. Proven comes from the fact that performance is backed by the actual results in your live portfolio, not a simulated environment.

What is Twitter? Hell if I know, I don’t use it but from what I understand it is a extremely popular (and apparently addicting) service that answers the question, “What are you doing right now?”. Big time finance bloggers such as Howard Lindzon and Timothy Sykes are Twitter users, and by following them on Twitter everytime they post a “tweet” you can see their message. Think of it as phone texting on steroids.

Anyway, read up on the official Covestor announcement and if you are a Covestor + Twitter user it is time for you to get with the times and merge the two together, “ka-peesh?”
