This is the first Sunday night market insight I am running here on the blog, and I feel it will compliment the Nightly Stock Picks posts well.
Alongside a market ready to break either to the upside or the downside, there are a handful of stocks and industry groups I will have a close eye on this week.
Market Pre-Week Analysis
NASDAQ - Wedge pattern formed and Friday held tight. Break above 2360 Bullish, break below 2250 Bearish.
S & P 500 (monitored with SPY) - Could we see a test of $139 - $140 this week or is a break below $132 more realistic?
Industry Groups / Sectors Hot Last Week
Fertilizers, Anything Oil (drilling, refining/production, exploration, etc.), Metal Ores (gold, silver), Medical (dental, drugs, equipment, products), Farm Machinery, Alternative Energy, and Steel.
3 Industry Groups / Sectors I am Closely Watching This Week
Steel, Fertilizers, Metal Ores
10 Hot Stocks Last Week
STLD, RIO, CMED, PPDI, DVN, RIG, RIMM, MTL, GG, CF
20 Stocks To Watch This Week (trust me, there are more
)
STLD, BCR, BHP, CMED, POT, BZP, ILMN, PPDI, EOG, DVN, HES, PBR, CMP, RIG, RIMM, AKS, DO, CRZO, EEM, CPST
3 ETFs Worthy of Any Portfolio
