Though today’s market ended on a positive note, there are many questions that still need to be answered. The NASDAQ had the best run posting a 2.32% gain, but with such a strong showing the lack of volume across the board was concerning.
Here are the facts:
- The NASDAQ pushed above 2370 and has now begun to fill its gap range. Volume today though was lack luster not even hitting the daily average.
- The S&P 500s move was impressive but the lack of volume is not only lower than its average, but also lower then yesterday.
Here are the questions:
- Is there enough steam to push the NASDAQ above 2420 to claim higher highs?
- When the volume does come in for the major indices, will it support a bottoming market?
