With the market so hopped up on volatility drugs, I figured it’d be a great time to bring back the Guess the NASDAQ Close contest for some community fun. Can you guess the exact close of the NASDAQ Composite index a week in advance?
Simply leave a comment with this post of the exact price (to the penny) that you think the NASDAQ Composite index will close at next Friday, January 25th, 2008.
There will be no $5,000 prize for being the closest guess, but I will put everyone’s entries into an excel sheet and shoot some link loving throughout the week to those that are closest to the actual price.
To help you out, here is a chart of the NASDAQ Composite as of the close today, Friday the 18th,
NASDAQ Close $2340.02, Click to View
Next Monday the 21st is a holiday for the market, so the last call for entries will be Monday night, 8:00 PM EST.
To kick things off I am going to put my guess in at $2,420.56 as I am a bull at heart.

I think 2287.65
2489.63
I am a bull too…
2412.17… I’m a smaller permabull than you but we need a recovery.
2340.02
I don’t think it is easy to guess, traders react, not guess.
By the way, one of the best guys I know in terms of knowing the market is Rob Wallaston,
maybe he can tell if you ask him…
$2345.52 (weak bullish) - but I have to be little opimistic!
I will guess that the Nasdaq will finish the day on Friday January 25th at 2297.97. I am a bull at heart, but think that there may be some more bad news to come this week.
Naz futures down 70+ points. Dow futures down 520. I would like to amend my guess and say the Naz closes this week at 0.
ugh, darnit wild1
to add, guess i should have traded my bull hoof for a bear claw this week
, nice call btw

IBOT.PK is in continuous news. Can any one give me any idea how their business is going on and is this look good on fundamental basis?
