Jack Makes $12,852 in 16 Minutes
I don’t know why but it has such a great ring to it doesn’t it? This was a small trade compared to say the $201,300 Jack made in one hour last week, but nonetheless, very cool.
Baidu.com was the stock:
- Shorted 6300 shares BIDU at 375.18.
- Covered 6300 shares at 373.14
When Jack posts a trade on his blog it is typically within two minutes of the trade actually being performed.
His brand new blog (Jack Haddad Live) was launched last Monday only known to you the readers here exclusively, yet Jack as of today (9 days later) has 147 Subscribers already. I suggest subscribing to Jack’s feed while it is free, because eventually his content will move to a subscription based setup.

While I’d love to be making that kind of money in such a short time, I’d be more inpressed if I knew how much of a percentage gain it was over dollar gain.
Great Q, actually it is less than 1%, typically for a day trade like this you are going for small spreads.
Will the subscription service remain free for current subscribers?
As of now everything would go behind private password kept doors, so no. The purpose right now is to build readership and exposure for Jack’s work, and then make a decision as to how to proceed from there. This probably will not happen though until well into 2008. What is cool is Jack hasn’t even begun to share what he will be down the road. Just wait until you see some of his research reports he writes up

I’ve already signed up for the feed. I like his sense of humor, this whole site has a great sense of humor actually, and his calls are usually pretty spot on. It’s a good resource, great that it’s free too.
BIDU is absolutely the perfect stock to trade in and out of, and it appears that Jack is good with his buy and sell points. Good stuff.
