Market Leaders
When you want to know overall direction you look at the market leaders. As long as the leaders continue to push ahead you have strength moving back into the rest of pack.
Who are your leaders right now in this market?
Your leaders are Google (GOOG), Apple (AAPL), Potash Corp (POT), Baidu.com (BIDU), First Solar (FSLR), and Research in Motion (RIMM). Even with the market yielding strong distribution last week as long as these stocks hold up you can sleep decently at night. The problem is that most of these stocks are showing signs of significant price slow down.
I can’t stress enough to keep a close eye on these companies. Add them to a watch list if you haven’t already and keep a close eye on their performance. The strongest currently is First Solar which had a heavy accumulation gap up on November 8th.
