STTG Weekly Highlights - September 30 2007
This week was a good one for the blog as it closed off the month of September strong across the board with record subscriber numbers, earnings, and traffic.
Tomorrow I will post this blogs full earnings and traffic stats, so keep an eye out for the post, the results were unexpected!
Now for the highlight posts from this past week:
- 1st Place goes to hands down Get Rich with Dan Zanger, the Investor Who Turned $10,000 into $40 Million. With 13 comments and 100s of reads this week Dan Zanger stole the spotlight. You’ll find in the post that Dan is the World Record holder for the largest return in a portfolio for a single year. Bottom line, Dan is a machine and his newsletter can make you rich.
- A close second place goes to 10 Ways to Learn Sock Trading as a New Investor which had 10 comments this week, and posted on Monday kicked off the week to a great start. This post highlights 10 unique and simple ways to learn stock trading when you are just a newbie. Look for this post to be in the “For Beginners” section by the end of October.
- With 9 comments this week Are 20 Monitors Enough for One Trader? You Decide came in third place showing off Adam Sender’s new office and sick trading station. There are so many monitors spread out they are hard to count, and the only question I can think of to ask Adam is, “how good are you really?”
Honorable mention goes to Strategic Investing, How to Setup a Profit vs Loss Ratio which is a fantastic read and almost a “must read” for any investor who wants to be successful in the long run. A correctly setup profit vs loss ratio alone can make you rich, and its too bad I didn’t know about them a back in 2004.

29,233% return must fee amazing. I still can’t get over it
Blain, how does Dan Zanger perform during bear markets? I’m still contemplating joining his newsletter.
He calls the tops then moves to cash and starts finding shorts. It really blows me away to be honest FT, now I haven’t seen him in a full fletched bear market but the dips and such we have had hes called them almost to a T.
