New Theme Up, Testing 1 2 3
UPDATES: Content is now fixed and flush with header.
The new theme is now up for testing. A few things that need to be fixed thus far:
- The main content doesn’t sit flush with the header, there is a small gap
- The blogroll at the bottom right corner isn’t displaying correctly

(1) Is the RSS feed at top right meant to be half cut?
(2) What’s with the adwords? A little bit conflicting with text. Put it in a box or something.
(3) I’m wondering whether I preferred the previous design. Seemed much simpler on the eye. Just my view

New design is sharp! Props to Nate Whitehill. He seems to be getting a lot of business since doing John Chow’s site.

I like this design much better. The kinks will work themselves out over the next few days and weeks (we can live with that). I love John Chow’s new design, it is one of the best out there. Eventually I will need to update my simple design. Nice!!!
I like it overall - I’m not a big fan of the in your face ads mixed with the text, but if it gets your more clicks/money I can understand why you are doing it.
I agree with what Kavit says about the RSS in the upper right. I didn’t even notice it at first since the other RSS logo stood out pretty well.
The design looks good to me. I like it.
Appreciate the feedback guys. I’ve corrected most of the glitches and such and just now need to fill in the footer. Kavit, the RSS is supposed to be half cut like that. I also removed the Kontera intext advertising as a test for the rest of the month. So far so good overall, Nate did a great job and we will see how this helps out for the long haul
