That book was really good, I enjoyed that portion, wasn’t that when he was saved by the Feds cutting rates by half a point midday when he was going to have to liquidate the whole fund at the end of the week?

The book that has been most benefical to me in investing has been “One up On Wall Street” by Peter Lynch. Lynch has a terrific style of writing that is very easy to read and I learned a lot through that book.

Hey Blain,
That is rather funny that we both posted about it today (Richest Man in Babylon).

On another note: I finally went and got the latest Tiesto album. I love it: Elements of Life. I am looking to go to the show in Atlantic City at the Borgata in October. I downloaded my first tiesto set in collge (1999) using Napster and he has never disappointed yet.

James Cramer – despite what one may think about his advice – is a really entertaining read. I’m pretty sure I read the book you list above, and remember his amusing anecdote about going through the crash of 87 where he nearly quit trading.
