Hi Dan,

Take a look at our stock education page, http://www.stocktradingtogo.com/free-education. There are tons of great investment education articles on there. Also for stock brokers take a look at this page, http://www.stocktradingtogo.com/2007/05/31/5-top-online-stock-brokers/. Personally I would go with the #2 listed broker. Fantastic customer service, very inexpensive commissions, and a great community to chat / discuss with.

If you have any stock questions feel free to ask them here, http://www.stocktradingtogo.com/forum/stock-questions/. Hope that helps, good luck!

What do you think of AOL's finance pages? I see this article is from 2007, I wonder if it was done today if AOL would be on the top 5? Personally, I enjoy AOL's finance site. Besides have good info(and alot of it), the new beta version looks great!

Of course when I make an investment decision common sense dictates that you check many sites, including all of your top 5 list.

I am using daily marketwatch and bloomberg for news and updates and stockcharts for charting. globeinvestor.com is also great to track portfolios for free and it works with both US and Canadian stocks.

These are all great sites. Until not too long ago I didn't realize how impressive the charts were over at StockCharts.com, but they truly are the best. The free charts there are as good as paid subscription charts some places.
