Stock Trading VI, Final Results

Finalized now is Stock Trading VI, and another stock contest is in the books. This past week had a horribly impressive performance by not only one community, but an individual finance blogger. Who knows what to expect next time around!

For those just joining us, contestants participated in one or more of the following categories:

• One Guess of the NASDAQ Composite Close, this upcoming Friday May 25th.
• One Stock Pick for the week
• One Short Pick for the week

Also there is a $200 cash prize for anyone who can correctly guess the NASDAQ Close… to the penny!

So with the final results in, the best overall community by a huge landslide is the community of the Million Dollar Journey! This is I believe the SECOND community victory now for MDJ, so mad props guys, good work! The best overall single performer is Financial Blogger from who else but MDJ, attaining a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finish.

I personally have never seen such an impressive single handed performance as I did this time around, but naturally there is always room for raising the bar. No one claimed the $200 cash prize for guessing the NASDAQ close, and the record still stays in The Bull Trader’s hands for his guess of being off by only $.30.

Congratulations to all of our top finishers, solid work! Starting with Stock Trading VII, there will be a simple form to fill out to simplify the registration process for you guys, and we will try splitting everyone up into two teams. Needless to say, it should be entertaining and naturally hard core awesome!
