1000 Post Milestone, Blog Turns 1!

Not even knowing it, I realized today that I had hit the 1000 post milestone here on the stock trading 101 blog! I was writing a post earlier today and noticed it was given the ID of 1002, and thought to myself, “that is pretty crazy Blain!” I have had this blog for who knows how long. The feed has been burnt by feedburner since before May 2006, looks like April.

Wait a minute… did I miss my birthday? (goes to see when first post was made, 2 minutes later…) LoL, I did miss my 1st birthday, oh man! I went back and found my first post to be made on Friday March 17th, 2006! I will add that on to the title now… there we go )

Well, my gosh, happy birthday and happy 1000th. If I forget my wife’s birthday someday I will revert back to this post and tell her it isn’t my fault, I just have a bad memory, lol! My goal by my next blog birthday is to get ST101 into the higher ranks by surpassing 1,000 RSS subscribers. As long as I don’t forget the url to my homepage, I think I can make it happen! Now where did I put those party hats…

Congratulations on your blog’s first anniversary! Producing and maintaining a high quality blog with good content is a constant challenge, and the fact that you have so many regular readers stands as a testament to your efforts. Keep up the great work!
