Guess the NASDAQ Close, the Winner is…
Two weeks after the “Guess the Nasdaq close and win a shopping spree” contest began, we have our winner! For those who are just tuning in and missed the contest, there were 17 people (our biggest turn out yet) that left comments stating what they thought the NASDAQ Composite index would close at in two weeks time on today, March 23rd. The winner gets an o’ so sweet spot on the ST101 sidebar under “Contest Hall of Fame”, not to mention $20 bucks to spend at Amazon.com.
So without further delay, the winner is (drum-roll and lot’s of unnecessary noises please…)
Julie Adams from It’s a Funny World with her guess of 2453!! Just how dead on was Julie you ask? The NASDAQ closed today at 2456.18, which put her just 3.16 off the actual price, or .13% off, that’s impressive for a “Wife mother politically challenged hungry bookaholic” (straight from her blog)! So, Julie is the winner of $20 bucks to spend on a shopping spree at amazon.com, and gains the first slot in our Hall of Fame. Congrats Julie on the win, perhaps next time you can be less than .1% off?
