Thursday mixed market on volume, but across the broaders markets we closed red. The Nasdaq put in higher volume today to leave a distribution day. The NYSE lighter volume to leave a light volume drop. Was a very narrow range across the board to keep [...]

Baidu Bear Flag

December 28, 2006

Take a look at this chart of Baidu.com (BIDU) and you can see what I am speaking of. Now, please note straight off that this is not a triangular pattern as for instance shares of Intercontinentalexchange (ICE) have setup. MRVC Double 50 DMA Bull

December 28, 2006

M R V Communications (MRVC) has setup a nice double 50 DMA – 50 day moving average -  bull flag. The keys that make this pattern relavent include the uptrending 50 DMA and also the strong volume support when bouncing off the 50 DMA. Making a play on this stock is simple, buy as close [...]

The industry group overall is stabilized, and currently is trading in [...]

Tuesday started the day off strong and continued with a close on the highs. Volume was very light and it will continue to stay light until after New Years. Despite the absence of earnings and economic data today we still were able to find pockets of [...]
