I found this pretty interesting when I read it today. Today Microsoft (MSFT) handed out performance bonuses of restricted stock. How much? $951 paid out to about 900 different senior executives. First off I didnt even know one company could have so many senior executives, and second that is a pretty handsome bonus list that DID NOT include Bill Gates or Steve Ballmer.

The biggest payout went to Jeff Raikes, who apparently heads Microsoft’s business division. He recieved 875,334 shares to be exact, which brough his stake in the company to 5.5 million shares. Just for kicks, 875,334 x today’s closing price of $25.70 equates to $22,496,083.80. Not bad for one guy. Nice job Jeff, keep up the good work.
