Sirius to buy out XM Radio?

This made interesting news today and investors reacted by buying up shares of XM Satelite Radio (XMSR) pretty heavily. The stock was up almost 7% on talks that the Sirius (SIRI) CEO may be interested in buying out XM. What would a merger of the two be good for shareholders though? This is the big question currently.

A good release on the subject can be found here. I will followup on the story as more information comes around and reveals itself. React accordingly.
