Stock Lingo Word of the Day

Today’s word to be used in your everyday stock market lingo vocab is….

“Buck the trend”

To buck the trend means basically to go against the current trend of the market. So let’s say the stock market is falling miserably, and your stock is running up to new highs, you could say that your stock is “bucking the trend.” With the current stock market we have, this word could come in handy if you find a winner.
