The Stock Lingo Word of the day for Tuesday is

“Air Pocket Stock”

What is an air pocket stock? Think of it as a way of describing a stock that just fell out of the air and plunged to earth unexpectedly. A quality example that comes to mind is Enron for instance. One day the stock is trading over $100, and the next day as if the plane ran out of gas it plummets to the ground, ouch.

Read some more Stock Lingo, or perhaps read a summary of Jim Cramer’s show today?
